Dust and temperature requirements
Confirm the relevant dust group, ignition-temperature data, maximum permitted surface temperature and any conditions relating to dust layers. Check the exact model certificate and installation instructions. Do not assume that a luminaire remains suitable under any thickness of accumulated dust.
Plan inspection, cleaning and light coverage
Include access for cleaning and inspection in the layout. Machinery can obstruct the light reaching the task, so share equipment positions as well as room dimensions when requesting a DIALux lighting plan.
